Meet the Instructors
Holle Tubbs
Holle Tubbs is a ministry leader, writer, and speaker who currently serves as Youth Missioner to the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. After two decades of ministry, Holle remains passionate about spiritual formation, leadership development, and expansive faith spaces. Her experiences with mental illness and suicide inform her work with young people in the Church.

The Right Rev. Bishop Robert Wright
Bishop Robert Wright is the 10th bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. He holds a master of divinity degree from the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria and was ordained a deacon in June of 1998 at the Washington National Cathedral and priest in February of 1999 at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City. He holds certificates from Ridley Hall Cambridge University, Oxford University and The Harvard Kennedy School of Public Policy. He has also been awarded honorary doctorates from Virginia Theological Seminary, the School of Theology at Sewanee: The University of the South and the General Theological Seminary. He was appointed by the Georgia Supreme Court to a committee that reviews law and policies facing the youth of the state of Georgia. Wright is an adjunct teacher at the Candler School of Theology, the chair of the board of The General Theological Seminary and serves on the boards of Habitat for Humanity International and The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School.

Dr. Mary Chase Mize
Dr. Mary Chase Mize is a counselor and master-level Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) trainer. She is a postdoctoral research associate at Georgia State University, where she serves as the assistant director of the HOPE lab and co-primary investigator of a $1.3 million grant from the Department of Health and Human Services. The primary focus of her research is community-based suicide intervention among older adults through equipping nutrition services and aging network providers with life-saving suicide intervention skills. In addition to her work at GSU, Mary Chase is a part-time clinician with Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta.
