How To Teach the Bible
The Candler Foundry
COURSE INFORMATION
Course Dates: June 9 - June 30, 2025
Course Time: Mondays, 12:00 PM - 1:15 PM ET (Online)
Course Description
Most people who teach the Bible in churches have no formal training in biblical studies, even as they are eager to incorporate biblical scholarship, ethical engagement, and theological reflection in their small group leadership. In this course, students will consider their teaching contexts and themselves as teachers of the Bible. Together, we will explore some best practices from pedagogy and accessible resources from biblical scholarship so that students feel better equipped as teachers for their own contexts.
