Course Description
Where do you put your treasures and wealth, and why? What is your personal story around money and giving? How much is flourishing, and when is enough enough? And what does the Bible have to say?
In this six-week study, Alan Wildes, Vice President with Generis, will lead us in conversations about generosity, stewardship, sacrifice, investment, and more. We will explore our upbringings, attitudes, and fears about saving, earning, spending, and giving, and dive into what the Bible has to say about how to manage our resources. Attendees will develop clarity and vision to confidently engage their family's resources in a manner led by the Holy Spirit.

Meet the Instructor: Alan Wildes
Vice President at Generis
Alan views his role as a generosity coach to be one that empowers. He brings the knowledge, experience, listening and motivational skills needed to help others realize their goals. In the last fifteen years alone, he has led over 125 successful church generosity initiatives, applying his unique skills and insights as a layperson and coach to the training of God’s real life stewards.
Excited by his work in growing churches, Alan’s own faith and commitment is bolstered by the Generis approach to fundraising as a spiritual quest. Personal relationships are forged quickly, he says, due to the amount of time and energy he spends with each congregation he serves. In fact, Alan’s success and devotion have been heartily reciprocated by his clients, who have engaged him to lead subsequent fundraising campaigns. His clients praise his methods of motivating others to see stewardship as an inspiring ‘whole life’ challenge and not a short-term monetary obligation.
