Which Way Do We Go Next? United Methodists Navigating the Future

The Candler Foundry in partnership with Trinity UMC.

Course Information

Course Dates: October 18 - November 8

Course Time: Tuesdays 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM ET (online)

Course Description

Rev. Dr. Don Saliers and Rev. Dr. Amy Valdez Barker were both contributors to the book “Where do we go from here?” back in 2019 after the special session of The UMC General Conference.  Following that session, they convened a group of North Georgia UMC members to discuss what the future might look like for The UMC.  Three years later, they are teaming up again to invite you to engage in a theological and critical look at the worship, doctrine, and polity of The UMC and where it might take us into the future. Join them for a four-week facilitated discussion with new resources, new perspectives, and a heart tuned into the Holy Spirit’s work for the future of the Methodist/Wesleyan movement.
